Celebration Of Life by Myra Carter

ARTIST NOTES: A large vibrant piece that would make a statement in any room. The colours of red, orange and gold make a beautiful rich patina. When I was painting this I set out to portray feelings of renewal and regrowth. Mother nature celebrating new life. Orange sun mornings filter through golden brown leaves and red grevillia buds. New life is born. This painting has a light coat of varnish for protection. Exhibited at the Warranwood Art Show, the Camberwell Art Show and the Warrandyte Art Show. Currently exhibiting in a corporate setting through Colourspace. Available with a professionally made floating frame at an extra cost if desired.

Myra is a contemporary abstract artist with a passion for colour.  She enjoys creating vibrant and textural works of art and seeks to express emotion through her work.  Originally from Scotland, she now lives in Warrandyte, Australia surrounded by birds and wildlife. The beauty of nature is her constant inspiration. She likes to work intuitively, enjoying the interplay of different textures and colours on the canvas. She is excited by the dynamic nature of abstract painting and enjoys the physicality of working on larger pieces. Her artworks have been featured in a variety of art shows, galleries and corporate spaces including the Victorian Office of the Solicitor General.  More of Myra's artworks can be seen on www.myracarter.com.au.
