Anita Dammersmith \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nAnita Dammersmith was born in Melbourne, and has travelled extensively through Australia, Asia and Europe. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nShe comes from an artistic family. She has various family members who are artists in many medium in Holland and Belgium \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nStudying Photography at RMIT, she recieved an opportunity to work at a creative level in the television industry. This opportunity continued in exess of twenty years during which time she as involved in local drama, international and local sporting events and news and current affairs. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nIt was long days on set and travelling for extensive periods that she developed an outlet to express and interpret her experiences. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nSpecialising in largely abstract images, Anita uses color that gives her work a unique edge, providing a look of today using hues and tones that compliment any decor. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nHer specialties are still life,landscapes and she pays particular attention to trees, plantlife,rock formations and natural forms in their simplicity. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nAnita works closely with interior designers to help finish a look to compliment any decor. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nHer works have been sold internationally and Australia wide. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n She has regularly been featured in Home Beautiful Australia magazine, Herald Sun Home magazine and Melbourne Weekly. \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\nShe has exihbited at exhibitions with expatriart in China 2012, 2013, Sweeden 2014, 2015 and has been approached by rug designers for numerous designs.
