I have been practicing Ceramics for over 10 years.
I work Part - Time as a Trauma Counsellor.
I am an inaugural member of the Treefern Potters formed in 2007. I am currently President & Secretary. The Treefern Potters now have a monthly Sunday residency at the Ferntree Gully Community Arts Centre. I have set up and exhibited in many Open Studios and exhibit at least twice a year in the The Treefern Potters Exhibitions. I sell at exhibits and various Market venues. As a member of Ceramics Victoria and the Valley Potters I have participated in various ceramic workshops in and around Melbourne. I have also demonstrated wheel throwing at the Knox Festival a number of times over the years.

I have my own home studio, wheel and Kiln. I love to make my own glazes and continue to experiment with all types of firing methods, including primitive styles like Raku. All my ceramics are original and hand made. I have predominantly made wheel thrown and altered functional ware over the years with a quirky bent. However in the last couple of years I have been experimenting with Slab rolled, slipcasting and Handbuilt work. This has led me to begin exploring using mixed media utilising found and made objects from the environment and combining my training and passion for trauma victims in telling stories with my current work.
