ARTIST NOTES: A windy day in the Northern Grampians at Laharum Olive Grove. The sun lit up the rock suddenly against the dark wintry sky and I grabbed the sketchbook.

1970's    Self-taught, exhibiting and receiving regular awards around Victoria since late 1970's.  

1980's    Work gained new strength after  a move to the Grampians in western Victoria,  regular awards for oils & pastels

1980's-90's   Illustrated several children's books.    Regular awards for oils & pastels

2000 onward.   Regular awards for acrylics, Victoria & South Australia.   Finalist twice in Heysen Awards, Hahndorf. See "My Awards"

Has illustrated several children's books, for Lothian, Reed and private publisher.  Recently recommenced illustrating, with Susie Sarah's Little Ant Books. Guest workshop leader,  Corangamite Arts Council "Jumping Puddles" Literary Festival  2013 for Western District schoolchildren.
